English Undergraduate Studies in Israel
Learn and Live
Studying in Israel will give you a chance to live in a small but energetic and interesting country. You would get the chance to visit many historical and religious sites while enjoying every aspect of modern day Israel. You can visit the Old City of Jerusalem or go clubbing in Tel Aviv. Relax at the lowest place in the world, The Dead Sea, or go for a swim at the Sea of Galilee. The international programs also give you the chance to meet people from around the world in addition to making new Israeli friends.
Study Programs
All universities and some of the colleges in Israel offer you the opportunity to take a three or four year track in English. In addition, some schools have programs in which students in their first year take courses in English and the rest of their studies will be in Hebrew.
All universities offer basic Hebrew courses as well as courses in Arabic, so you can familiarize yourself with one of these two languages or with both. At the universities you can take elective courses regarding the Jewish and Arabic cultures or of the conflicts in the Middle East. You can also apply for internship programs in the Israeli high tech industry or in government or social organizations.
Most B.A. programs are designed to be completed in three years. B.Sc. engineering tracks are usually completed in four years time.

Admission for undergraduate studies is based on GPA as well as SAT (or other standardized tests) scores. Most programs require that your high school average will be 80 or higher. However, in the more demanding faculties, such as engineering, your average has to be above 90 and your SAT scores should be 1400 or higher. In case you did not finish high school at an English Speaking country you will be required to take an English Proficiency test such as TOEFL or IELTS.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees at Israeli universities are approx. $3,600 per year. Private colleges tuition fees vary and could go up to approx. $7,000 per year. All universities and several colleges offer housing for additional sum; the cost differs but it is approx. $5,000 - $8,000 for one year.
