IDC Herzliya GMBA
Global Networking Is Israel
IDC Herzliya takes pride in its international vibe – as over of 20% of the center's students are non-Israeli. Besides meeting people from all around the world and experiencing life and work in Israel, students also benefit from an exclusive and demanding program.
Theory, Practice and Trips around the World
The Global MBA program includes mandatory and elective courses in one of three tracks: Global Management, Strategic Management and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In addition to in-class studies, students have many opportunities to gain some practical experience while studying.
First, all MBA students may intern in Israeli and international companies while studying. Furthermore, all tracks include practical workshops and projects to give students "a feel" of working for international companies. Lastly, all students may use the CDC (Career Development Center) to work on their personal skills and get job offers during and after their studies.
The program also includes field trips to Brazil, India or China, so students learn of the economies of these important countries.
The Different Tracks
Although all tracks include the same core classes in finance, economics etc., the courses offered in each program significantly differ:
Global Management – the track places strong emphasis on developing personal leadership skills and include personal coaching sessions.
Strategic Management – students participate in Wharton Global Consulting Practicum (GCP) in which students work in strategy or marketing teams for international paying clients.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship – participants design new digital products and study how to manage launching them into the global market.
Program Structure
The duration of this international Master's program is consecutive 18 months. All courses are in English. The studies take place twice a week. Once a month students must attend an extra class held on an additional evening.
