I have 146 days of leave before I retire by 9 March 2023. My interest is to fine-tune knowledge on feeding a nation as a whole. Currently working on CAN NIGERIA FEED HERSELF? i hope to work as a consultant after I retire, so would need deep thinking on food security issues for Nigeria and sub-Saharan African countries. I desire support for that period, as a visiting scientist, hoping to link up with the Israel institution well beyond the few days I learn from them.

Training Opportunities in Israel – International Programs
Hello Malachy,

There are more than a few programs in Israel in the field of agriculture - workshops, training programs. short courses and more.
Among the schools and institutions that offer the different programs you can find: The Arava Institute, The Golda Meir Training Center, The Center of International Agriculture Development Cooperation, and more.

Each school and institute have a different program, some of the programs could be shorter or longer than others and some offer scholarships to international students so I've attached a link at the end of my message that will send you to an article about the different schools, institutes, and programs you can choose from and hopefully help you find the best one for you.

Because you have a small group you can ask the institutions to create a special course for you guys in your terms. I can promise they can do it but it's possible.
