Admission Requirements - Master's in Plant Science
Hello Obasanya,
To my knowledge, to apply for master’s degrees in Israel, one must present a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3 and above. Therefore, you will first need to complete a B.Sc undergraduate degree in relevant fields such as agriculture, plant science, or biology. Additional admission requirements include a score in an English proficiency exam (such as IELTS or TOEFL), and letters of recommendation. Master’s degrees in plant science conducted in English are currently offered in the following institutions in Israel: The Hebrew University (Jerusalem), Tel-Aviv University, Ben-Gurion University (Be’er Sheva), and Weizmann Institute (Rehovot).
Regarding scholarships, most universities in Israel offer scholarships for international students, some are merit-based while others are needs-based. Since the terms and conditions of each scholarship may vary, I would advise you to contact the academic institutions directly to inquire about your eligibility for scholarships.
I have attached a link at the bottom of my answer to an article with further information on master’s degrees in agriculture and plant science in Israel.
