Shalon! My name is Juan; I am 75 years old, I am an american and I would like to study hebrew in Israel. I woul prefer to study at the University of Jerusalem. I am alone and would like to find a small place where I can live for a year or two while I stdy Hebrew. I know that it will take more than two years to learn Hebrew, and at my age it's difficult, but this is somethng that I always wanted to do. I have ancestors who were jewish but I was not raised jewish. As a matter of fact I was not raised in any religious. I would like to know the cost to study Hebrew at the university of Jerusalem, visa, what kind of permission and the cost for a small apartment. Thanks in advance for your cooperation, Respectfuly, Juan Ortiz-Lebron.

Hebrew studies in Israel
Hi Juan,
There are a few schools and institutions in Israel which offer different Hebrew courses to international students, among those institutions: is Ulpan Kibbutzim which takes place in no less than 8 different kibbutzim in Israel, The Hebrew University, Levinsky College, and more.
Some of the programs offer housing and some help you find a housing solution so don't worry about that..
Each one of those institutions offers a different program and some also offer scholarships so I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different programs you can choose from and I advise you to contact those that are relevant to you directly to get all the information you need about the admission, fees and more
