I'm a physician in the USA nearing retirement. I'm interested in learning Hebrew and spending some time in the medical system in Israel. I'd love to learn how things are done there and to share what I can from here.
What programs are available and how does one apply? I'm Jewish and I wish to learn more about the Law of Return (if that's what it's called these days)

Hello Dr. Ribnik,

As a physician who wish to work or contribute to our medical system, you need to contact the different hospitals directly and they might be able to offer you a program that will fit you. it's not uncommon that international physicians arrive and work at the different hospitals but you'll have to plan everything with the management of the hospital.

I don't think they could offer Hebrew lessons so you 'll have to participate in a course on your own.
