MD medical studies for international students

International medical programs (MD) are available in several universities in Israel. The program at Ben Gurion University is open to students from a variety of countries, whereas the other universities mainly accept students from the US or Canada.

The Medical studies are only open to those who have successfully completed their pre-med studies. The required GPA is usually 3.4 and above. Candidates also have to pass several interviews and submit essays and letters of recommendation. As for scholarships, most universities offer funding options, especially for excellent students.
