Admissions to masters programs in agriculture usually depend on one's achievements in their B.Sc. degree. Most universities in Israel require a GPA of 3.0 or above, in relevant subject such as biology, animal science, food science or biotechnology. Some universities require letters of recommendation. In addition, applicants must pass an English proficiency test, such as TOEFL.

Israel is indeed one of the leading countries in the world in agri-tech and innovation. In the different M.Sc. tracks studied in Israeli universities one can focus on these special technologies and also research leading topics in crop and livestock management. There are a few universities that offer international programs such as The Hebrew University (Jerusalem) or Weizmann Institute (Rehovot). In order to apply, a GPA of 3 or above is usually required, as well as a high grade in the TOEFL exam. Professional experience can also be an advantage.
