please allow me to quickly introduce myself: My name is Emma, I'm 27 years old, I've studied English and History (B.A. and M.Ed.) and I'm about to finish my teacher training within the next two months. I'm interested in learning Hebrew and maybe work in Israel after that. Unfortunately I most likely will not qualify as an Olim. Is there still the possibility for me to particapte in the Ulpan Etzion in Jerusalem? Are there any other language courses you would recommend for me? I would be very grateful for your answer! Have a good day!
Best wishes,
Emma

Hebrew courses in Israel
Hello Emma,
If you're not in the Olim program you can't do an ulpan program for free but you can attend it if you pay. There are a few schools and institutions in Israel which offer different Hebrew courses to international students and/or visitors. Among those institutions: Ulpan Kibbutzim that takes place in no less than 8 different kibbutzim in Israel, The Hebrew University, Levinsky College and more. Most schools offer you the chance to get a student visa so there's no problem with this.
Each one of those institutions offers a different program which takes around 4-5 weeks (at least - can also be longer if you wish) so I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different programs you can choose from and i advise you to contact those that are relevant to you directly to get all the information you need about the admission, fees and any other information you may need.
