Transfering to a medical school in Israel
Hello Marcelly,
In order to transfer to an Israeli medical degree program you must apply directly with the school in which you wish to study.
There are a few institutions which offer medical programs, among them: The Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University, The University of Haifa, the Ben Gurion University and more. In order to study medicine in Israel you must first complete your pre med studies. Candidates need to present a GPA of at least 3.4. and MCAT scores (or their equivalent in case students are not from the US) with scores of above 27.
I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different schools you can choose from and the admission for international students.
Transfer from medicine studies in Russia to Israel
Transferring from medicine studies in Russia to Israel may be possible, but it would depend on several factors such as the specific requirements of the Israeli university or medical school you want to transfer to, your academic performance, and the availability of seats in the program.
Here are some general steps you can take to explore the possibility of transferring:
Research Israeli universities and medical schools that offer medicine programs. Look into the admission requirements, including any specific requirements for transfer students.
Contact the universities or medical schools that interest you and inquire about their transfer policies and procedures.
Prepare your academic records, including transcripts, course descriptions, and syllabi. You may need to have them translated into Hebrew or English.
Take any required standardized tests, such as the Israeli Psychometric Exam, if applicable.
Apply to the universities or medical schools that interest you according to their transfer application procedures and deadlines.
It's important to note that transferring to a different country's medical school can be a complex process that involves navigating visa and immigration requirements, cultural differences, and adapting to a new academic system. You may want to consult with an academic advisor or transfer counselor to help you navigate the process.
