Hi I am looking to make aliyah this summer and want to come and study in Israel in English. I want however to pay citizen rates as I am becoming a citizen but I want to study an undergraduate course taught in English in Politics, government and International Relations. Is this possible and which universities are options,

Political sciences studies in Israel
Hello Gabriella,
There are a few institutions in Israel which offer an international master degree program in political sciences to international students, among them: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, The University of Haifa, The Tel Aviv University and The IDC Hertzelia. Each institution offer different program and different scholarship so you'll have to contact them directly to find out what is it they can offer you.
In order to apply candidates must finish first an undergraduate degree in a related field like politics, government, journalism and sociology, with an average of 3.0 or more (80 or above). Students who wish to participate in a thesis track will need an average of 88 or higher (3.4). In addition, candidates who did not complete their undergraduate studies in an English speaking country must take an English proficiency test.
I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different institutions, programs, admission and more.
Study political sciences in Israel
Hello Gabriella,
There are a few institutions in Israel which offer an international bachelor degree program in political sciences to international students, among them: The Bar Ilan university, The IDC Hertzelia and The University of Haifa. Each institution offer different program and different scholarship so you'll have to contact them directly to find out what is it they can offer you.
All candidates must present their high school diploma and SAT (or other standardized test) scores. GPA most be above 3.0 and the SAT score needs to be above 1100. However, requirements change each year, and candidates may apply even if their scores are somewhat lower. English proficiency test is required in case candidates did not complete their high school studies in English speaking countries.
