Hi, I hail from India. I finished my Masters Degree in Computer Science in the year 2000. I would like to take a in-depth course on Hebrew with the aim of doing an detailed study on Judeo-Christianity.Can you help me with answers to the below questions? 1. Are there full scholarships available if I have to reside in Israel & study Hebrew?
2. If there are no full scholarships available what are the other options I have that will reduce my financial expenses while staying in Israel & studying Hebrew?
3. Are there any Universities in Israel that will offer Distant Learning courses for studying Hebrew?
4. What will be the overall cost of studying Hebrew?
Thanks Ajit

Study Hebrew in Israel
Hello Ajit,
As far as i know, only Olim can get a full, or an almost full scholarships otherwise there might be some discount but there are no official scholarships in Israel for Hebrew studies.
There are a few schools and institutions in Israel which offer different Hebrew courses to international students with special benefits for those who plan on doing Alya in the future, among those institutions: Ulpan Kibbutzim that takes place in no less than 8 different kibbutzim in Israel, The Hebrew University, Levinsky College and more. Some of the programs offer housing and some help you find a housing solution so don't worry about that. Some of the programs are in Tel Aviv, some in other place but never too far sa we have a relatively small country.
Each one of those institutions offers a different program and some also offer scholarships so I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different programs you can choose from and i advise you to contact those that are relevant to you directly to get all the information you need about the admission, fees and more.
