Hello i am a Ugandan currently studying from India, i would like to know from you, if it's possible for me to seek for a student visa specifically for coming to learn Hebrew in Israel, and if possible what would be the necessary criteria to be followed. Thanks. George.

Hebrew courses and students visas
Hello George,
There are a few schools and institutions in Israel which offer different Hebrew courses to international students with special benefits for those who plan on doing Alya in the future, among those institutions: Ulpan Kibbutzim that takes place in no less than 8 different kibbutzim in Israel, The Hebrew University, Levinsky College and more. Some of the programs offer housing and some help you find a housing solution so don't worry about that.
Each one of those institutions offers a different program so I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different programs you can choose from and i advise you to contact those that are relevant to you directly to get all the information you need about the admission, fees and more.
Regarding the visa you'll have to contact the school in which you choose to go to - They usually help with the process or at least explain it because it will change according to the programs you'll choose.
