Agribusiness and horticulture studies in Israel
Hello Joel,
In Israel there are a few schools and institutions which offer different short and long term courses in various fields, among them there - The Galilee international management institute that specialize in agriculture and environment and have a customized program in agribusiness. The 15 days program combines tours and classes that are taking place in Kibbutz Mizra which is located in the rural northern region of Israel. In order to find about more about the financial aid they offer international students you must contact them directly.
Regarding the horticulture studies - There is a degree which offers, among other subject also horticulture - A degree in agricultural sciences. Among the schools which offer this program, you can find: The Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot and The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
In order to apply for a master program in agriculture in Israel candidates must present a first degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, animal sciences, food sciences or any of the related fields with a GPA of 80 or more. In cases students are not from an English speaking country, they will have to take an English proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS. Candidates must submit three letters of recommendation, and relevant experience is the field of agriculture.
Each of the institutions I've mentioned offer different scholarships for international students all you have to do is choose the school where you wish to study and contact them directly through their website asking about the financial aid they can offer you.
I've attached a link at the bottom of my message where you can find a link, once you'll click it, it will send you to an article about the different programs you can choose from and more information about the admission, institutions and more.
