In my opinion, if you're looking to study more about the field of agriculture in general and irrigation techniques in specific you should go for a training program and not an internship.

There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different short term courses and training programs in the field of agriculture, among them you can find: The Arava Institute, The Golda Meir Training Center, The Center of International Agriculture Development Cooperation and more.
