As far as I know, there are currently no short courses in caregiving for international students in Israel. However, do take into consideration that in order to work as a caregiver in Israel (such as for elderly people) you do not need to complete any kind of course. As you have described, it seems that other countries do in fact require you to take a course.

My advice is to contact the Australian embassy about working as a caregiver there and also about the visa required.
