Hello, I'm interested in studying agriculture and sustainable farming in Israel. I graduated university from Boston University in the US with a degree in Business. I am currently living in Bostwana and was wondering if I can apply to learn agriculture having studied business and not a the sciences as an undergraduate student. Thank you for your time

Sustainable farming studies in Israel
Hello Keletso,
There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different MSc programs in agriculture sciences for international students, among them: The Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot and The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
In order to apply for a master program in agriculture in Israel candidates must present a first degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, animal sciences, food sciences or any of the related fields with a GPA of 80 or more. In cases students are not from an English speaking country, they will have to take an English proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS. Candidates must submit three letters of recommendation, and relevant experience is the field of agriculture.
You can try applying for a short term course or training program - There are a few institutions which offer those: The Arava Institute, The Golda Meir Training Center, The Center of International Agriculture Development Cooperation and more. Each institution offer different courses, for example: agricultural meteorology, rural agriculture, horticulture, agriculture education and more.
I've attached a link a at the end of my message that will send you to an article about the different schools, institutes and programs you can choose from and hopefully help you find the best one for you.
