M.Sc. in Agricultural Science in Israel
Hello Asika,
There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different MSc programs in agriculture sciences for international students, among them: The Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot and The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
In order to apply for a master program in agriculture in Israel candidates must present a first degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, animal sciences, food sciences or any of the related fields with a GPA of 80 or more. In cases students are not from an English speaking country, they will have to take an English proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS. Candidates must submit three letters of recommendation, and relevant experience is the field of agriculture.
Once your brother is in Israel he can apply for a health insurance program for international students - the institute in which he will choose to study will help him with everything.
I've attached a link at the bottom of my message where you can find a link, once you'll click it, it will send you to an article about the different programs you can choose from and more information about the admission, institutions and more.

One year program
Hello Michael,
As far as i know all programs last at least a year and a half but you can try and ask them directly if they have anything to offer you that last a year and cost less money.
