Hi,I am from India, once i worked with Isareli team,i become so impressed that i wanted to do research in Israel(Actualy because of my israeli colleagues, industrial research interest has once again ignited in me,also the friendliness they showed after office hours as compared to other developed nationals. But as i am married (32 years old) with a kid ,problem is stipend ,i can get a decent stipend in Europe/USA,but my heart is beating for israel. I want to know wether i can get a basic scholarship for 3 -4 years so that i can sustain my family in Israel with food, school, accomodation. Also if PHD is student visa, wether my wife will get a work visa ?

PhD in chemistry in Israel
Hello Narendra,
As far as i know there are a few institutions in Israel that might be able to offer you an international PhD program in chemistry: The Technion in Haifa, The Tel Aviv University, The Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Each of those institutions have different admission but in general candidates will have to finish a Master's thesis track in a known academic institution in the world, their grade average must be at least 80 (B), and the thesis grade must be 85 or higher (the equivalent of "Very Good").
I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the PhD programs in Israel, admission, institutes and more.
