Studying Medicine in Israel
White Coat - Blue and White
In Israel you can study and get some practical experience at the leading medical and health programs. These programs incorporate high academic standards with a chance to live and work in a new and unusual environment. Israeli universities offer tracks for foreign students that are studied in English: MD degrees or International Master of Public Health.
Israeli medical programs are designed to suit American standards and most participants are students from the US and Canada. All courses are in English; however, due to the requirements of the practical aspects of MD training, students must acquire some knowledge in Hebrew. The universities offer classes in Hebrew for that end.
These programs are suitable for students who completed their pre-med undergraduate degree. At most universities, the track is open for students from the US and Canada only. In contrast, Ben-Gurion's track is open for students from other countries as well.
