Looking to learn Arabic in Israel

Hi, I am interested in learning how to speak Arabic. Right now I only speak English. I would like to come to Israel to learn Arabic. I would also like to know if I can learn Arabic as part of a program that will lead to a Master's Degree. It can be in Middle Eastern Studies or some other topic. I will need the courses to be taught in English. I have a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M, and have earned six Master's Degrees here in the U.S over the years. I have been to Israel 6 times so I know I will enjoy living there while pursuing this degree. Please let me know what University/Program in Israel you would recommend for my goals. Sincerely, Ron

Arabic studies in Israel
Hello Ron,

There are a few schools in Israel which offer Arabic studies, among them: The Hebrew University and The Center for Jerusalem Studies.

Each of the schools I've mentioned above offers a different program but in general they focus on Palestinian Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic.
Each course is different and so are the starting dates of them so in order to get a relevant schedule you'll have to contact the schools directly.
