How to apply for a PhD study in Computer Science
I learnt that Weizmann Institute offers PhD studies in computer science but requires the applicant to find a research advisor and contact on his own. Could you please provide more information on that?

The Weizmann institute does require the applicants to find there own research adviser and you can find all the information about the different advisers you can choose from in the Institute website.

As you said, In all fields except life sciences the candidates must find an advisor willing to supervise their PhD research before applying to the program. In the Weizmann institute website you can find a page called "How to apply" in this page there are a few links to lists of advisors you can contact in order to apply. I've also attached a link at the end of my message with more information about the program.
