Admission requirements for studying engineering

There are a few institutes in Israel that offer special programs for international students, among them those who offer engineering degrees: The Tel Aviv University, ORT Braude College, The Technion and more.
All students are required to pass a standardized test (SAT or ACT or AST or Gau Kao) with SAT scores of 1400 or higher .
When the candidate is not a native English speaker he must pass an English proficiency test like TOEFL with a grade of 580 or above.
The different institutes also ask the candidates to present their high school diploma.
