Medical school in Israel
Hello Haya,

If you speak, read and write in Hebrew you can try to apply for the Hebrew program. There are a few institutes that offer medical programs in Hebrew and in all of them you need to get at least 700 points in the Israeli SAT test.
If you wish to apply for the English programs you need to start with the premed programs in the USA and only than you can apply to the institutes in Israel that offer the English programs.
Which one is the best one for you? do you live in Israel today or somewhere else?

Is the American SAT not accepted here?

I do live in Israel, but I don't know Hebrew at all. Is the American SAT not accepted here? I've heard of a foundation year program or something like that.

The SAT are accepted but you have to do a premed program in the US first if you want to study in the English program.

What if I want to learn in Hebrew?

You need to do the Israeli SAT
Hello Haya,

In order to study in Hebrew you need to pass the Israel SAT test called "Psychometri" with a grade of at least 730 do present a high school diploma with an average grade of at least 100 and pass a level test in Hebrew. Only than you can apply for the different programs.
I advise you to contact the schools that offer an English program to see if they can help you with the admission because it's really hard for a non Israeli, Hebrew speaking student to get accepted to the Hebrew programs.
