Hello, I am an American with Jewish ancestry in Israel with my fiancé. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in biology from UC Santa Cruz, and a post-bacc certificate in advanced biosciences from the University of California Berkeley. I have almost 10 years of experience working for a private medical practice, and 2 years of experience working with children managing a nutrition education nonprofit program.
I am wondering if I might be eligible for this program, or if it is only for nurses and doctors? a professional license (nursing or medical doctor). I would also like to know about the Covid-19 vaccine policies: are exemptions for the vaccine allowed? I cannot have the Covid-19 vaccine due to my medical conditions. Furthermore, what would the tuition be for an American student?
Thank you, Rochelle Nisam

Master in public health degree
Hi Rochelle Nisam,
There is a Masters degree program in public health for international students at The Hebrew university at Jerusalem. It is taught entirely in English and its duration is 12 months.
In order to apply to the program all applicants must have an academic degree in medical or health areas such as medicine or nursing, or have an academic degree in life sciences or social sciences. Also applicants must submit their CV, a personal statement and three letters of recommendation with their application form.
Regarding tuition and the vaccine I suggest you contact the university directly.
At the end of my message there is a link to an article with further information about the program.
