to whom it may concern, I am inquiring regarding the liberal arts ba. I am looking for a communication degree and would like to know the following: is there a degree for comm. or is it part of the liberal arts degree? if so, what are the requirements? I graduated from a British/Scottish school in Israel, with a high school certificate of full A levels and O levels, does my certificate apply? I did 2 years of college, do the courses points count or do i need to re-do courses such as statistics for example which i already finished? are the sat's a must? or are there other options ? thanks in advance! stephanie

Communication major inquiry
Hi Stephanie,
B.A studies for communication are available at one of the following institutions in Israel: Tel Aviv University, Bar Ilan University (Ramat Gan), and IDC Herzliya.
Candidates must submit their high school diploma and SAT scores. Although the requirements differ each year, the candidates' GPA should not be under 3.0, and their SAT scores have to be above 1100. Some programs also require submitting an essay and recommendation letters.
Regarding courses points - it is different from one institute to another so it is best to directly contact them and check if you can skip some of the courses or use your academic points.
At the end of my message, I've attached a link with further information about the different options for communication studies in Israel.
