masters program or short courses?
Hello Augustine,
If you are interested in studying agriculture in Israel, there are 2 kinds of programs that may suit you - M.Sc. graduate (masters) degrees, or short diploma programs (courses). Both these options are suitable for international students and are taught in English. The difference is in length and admission.
The masters programs are suitable for those with a B.Sc. undergraduate degree in subjects such as agriculture, animal science or biology. They usually span 1 - 2 years and include an option for writing a thesis.
The short courses are more aimed at professionals who already have experience in agriculture and would like to get to know Israeli methods and techniques. They are usually between 2 - 3 weeks long and are centered around workshops and tours.
What kind of program are you more interested in? Please let us know and we will be able to give you more precise details. Meanwhile, I have attached an article on M.Sc. degrees. If you would like, I could attach another article on the courses, instead.
