Short course or M.Sc. degree
Hello,
As you have said, you indeed have 2 main options for studying agriculture here in Israel. One is short courses in agriculture, these are usually 2 - 3 weeks long and can be a good chance to get to know Israeli agricultural tech and gain hands on experience. Usually these are open to those without a degree in agriculture, though professional experience is sometimes required. You can find such courses at TAITC, Golda Meir center, GIMI in Nahalal and more.
If you are interested in M.Sc. degrees (graduate degrees) in Agriculture, you can find these in Israel too, but the study track is more extensive and has several application requirements. Usually, universities require a B.Sc. degree in agriculture, but degrees such as life science, biology and more may also be suitable. However, I do not know of universities that accept BSc. in computer science, but I would advise you to contact the universities directly and inquire if they can accept you to their programs. You can study at Ben Gurion University of the Hebrew University.
I have attached a link to more information on the short courses. Please let me know if you would like to read about the M.Sc. programs as well.
