Hi, my name is Tamar Klajman and I'm an Israeli citizen but have lived in London all my life. I was looking into studying law in Israel and was wondering if you would be able to give me any guidance about things such as entrance requirements, and deadlines for applications to universities in general. I would really appreciate any information about job prospects as a lawyer in Israel, and whether it may be better for me to study in London and then make aliyah with a degree.
Thank you and have a good day
Tamar Klajman

Admission for a law degree in Israel
Hello Tamar,
There are a few schools in Israel that offer an LLB program for international students: The University of Haifa, The College of Law and Business in Ramat Gan and The IDC Herzliya.
Applicants for a full LLB program must present their high school diploma and their SAT scores. The application must also have a short essay and two recommendation letters. The Admission for a semestrial or a yearlong program is based on the law students grades at their original ongoing programs abroad. In order to find out more about the funding and financial aid options you have you must contact each school directly because each of them offer different options.
I've attached a link at the end of my message with more information about the program and i advise you to contact The Haifa University directly if this is the school you wish to go to. If you're planning on doing Aliyah you should apply for a law degree in Israel but as long as you live and work in London it will be difficult - the law is different and so are to rules. You can't practice Israeli law outside of Israel and you can practice English law in Israel without passing the Israeli bar exam. Keep in mind there are a lot of lawyers in Israel - it's almost a lawyer per person here so finding a job is not that easy but also no impossible.
