There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different MSc programs in agriculture sciences (which include irrigation) for international students, among them: The Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot and The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

In order to apply for a master program in agriculture in Israel candidates must present a first degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, animal sciences, food sciences or any of the related fields with a GPA of 80 or more.
In cases students are not from an English speaking country, they will have to take an English proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS.

I am Bogale Abebe from Ethiopia. I am graduated from Jimma University by BSc in Horticulture with great distniction CGPA of 3.96 in 2017. I have also followed short term internship in Israel before in ARAVA (AICAT) and awarded international certificate. Now I am working as Senior technical assistant at Dilla university. To be a future asset and strongly committed to change, everyone needs education. I have potential to realize it if you could give me an opportunity to exploit. I expect learning at special university will increase my academic capacities and skills that cater to the specific needs of the continually changing environment for the wide needs of my country and to share and deepen my knowledge and insights with partners.

As I am holder of BSc in Horticulture, I want to upgrade my field of study if the university give me opportunity to follow MSc program in Horticulture, food science and nutrition,crop production and other related field.

As I am a senior technical assistant in the university, I need to have a concrete knowledge in the area of my specialization that could enable me to be an influential and competent. Research is also a mandate area for university graduates and I need to be a qualified researcher in the sphere of my specialization. My learning goals are also advancing knowledge and gaining practical skills to undergo research. I have awarded international certificate by advanced agriculture in which Jimma University gave me opportunity to follow short term internship in Israel before.
