Dear every body! How are you doing? I hope every thing to be good. I am Mebrahtu Gebremariam from Ethiopia and have BSc in plant sciences as well as MSc in horticulture. I am a lecturer in Aksum University, Shire Campus, Ethiopia. I have, however, great interest to enhance my practical knowledge regarding horticulture. Therefore, firstly, is there any short term training related to horticulture? If so how can I apply? Thank you in advance for your kind reply!

Short horticulture courses in Israel
Hello Mebrahtu,

There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different short term courses and training programs in the field of agriculture (including horticulture), among those institutions you can find: The Arava Institute, The Golda Meir Training Center, The Center of International Agriculture Development Cooperation and more.
Each school and institute have a different program, some of the programs could be shorter or longer than others so Iv'e attached a link a at the end of my message that will send you to an article about the different schools, institutes and programs you can choose from and hopefully help you find the best one for you.
I advise you to contact all of them to get the most information.
