Master in irrigation engineering
Hello Sumit,
Irrigation studies are available as part of the MSc program in agriculture sciences. The program last one year, two if you choose the thesis track. Located in a desert environment, Israeli Irrigation systems are very advanced and are developed by leading researchers so the courses always include the latest findings in plant studies and crop production technologies.
Among the institutions that offer the track you can find: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Weizmann Institute of Science or The Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva. In order to apply for a Master in agriculture in Israel all candidates must finish their first degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, animal sciences, food sciences or any of the related fields with a GPA of 80 or more. In cases students are not from an English speaking country, they will have to take an English proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS. In The bottom of my message you can find a link, once you'll click it it will send you to an article about the different programs your sister can choose from and more information about the admission, institutions and more.
Regarding the Netherlands - I'm sorry but we work only in Israel so i can't help you with any other countries you might be interested in.
