In Israel you can find a few universities that offer PhD programs for international students - The Hebrew University, The Ben Gurion University, The Technion, The University of Haifa, The Tel Aviv university and more.

Applicants will have to finish a Masters thesis track in a known academic institution in the world, their grade average must be at least 80 (B), and the thesis grade must be 85 or higher (the equivalent of "Very Good").

Each of the institutes iv'e mentioned also offer different scholarships and funding options for those they accept so i advise you to contact them directly so they can give you all the information you need about the different programs and scholarships.

Hello Im Elaine Acosta Im from Panama, since 6 years ago Im working as consultan for FAO at regional level (Latin America) specifically in the area of chemicals, pesticides; coordinating technical assitance project of the Rotterdam Conventio. I hold a master degree in ther area of enviromente from the Reims University in France. Now after 6 years of experience in the area of pestices I really want to start a PHD in related fields son I want to ask you what type of PHD I can find in Israel in this area? It is possible to have it but at the same time working with FAO??
