Study Medicine in Israel
Hello Nadav,
As you probably know we have a few great teaching hospitals in Israel. If you speak, read and write i Hebrew you will have more options: there is a special, relatively new, program that last 4 years in Ziv hospitals and is perfect for those who finished their first degree and decided they would like to be doctors. The other programs are in full length and you can find them in The Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University, The University of Haifa' the Ben Gurion University and more.
If you don't speak Hebrew the situation is a bit different because you have to finish a pre med program in your country and present really high SAT's scores.
I would love to advise you and help you find the best program for you but in order to do that u need to know your level in Hebrew.
Best regards, Noa

Studying Medicine after BSc
Thank you for your reply Noa!
I understand. My level of Hebrew is not good enough to read, write and speak Hebrew fluently, but my father is Israeli and I grew up speaking and hearing Hebrew.
If I had to come to Israel and learn to read, write and speak Hebrew fluently, it would not take me long at all. But studying in Hebrew, especially something like Medicine, will be a problem for me and I would definitely prefer and choose to study in English!
Are there opportunities to do so? How do I go about applying and practically organising this?
Also, are there scholarships or bursaries that would aid in paying for my studies, that I could apply for? At the moment I cannot afford to pay for my studies in Israel, and I also cannot afford to pay for accommodation. I will be working within my profession next year (2016) and will therefore have some money at the end of the year. This will be my internship year - after completing this I will be a registered Biokineticist. Then I may be ready to apply and organise the transition.

Medical studies in Israel
Hello Nadav,
If you wish to study in English there are a few schools that offer that program but only for students that finished their pre-med program in the US or in Canada with a GPA of at least 3.4. and MCAT scores. Among those institutes: The Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University, The University of Haifa, the Ben Gurion University and more.
I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different schools and requirements and you shouldn't worry about a scholarship because all those institutes I've mentioned above also offer financial aid for international students in need.
Please can we talk via a phonecall. If not, I really just want to know if I am good enough to apply to any university in Israel to study Medicine. I can explain the degrees I have completed already and I can send through marks and transcripts so that someone can tell me if I qualify.
Maybe via email is easier than via this forum? My email is [email protected]. Please get back to me when you can.
Regards Nadav

Study medicine in Israel
Hello Nadav,
If you speak Hebrew you can leave your contact information at the online contact me link I've attached to my message and a students adviser will call you back. But, unfortunately, if you don't speak at all i can;t contact you or have anyone else contact you at this time.
I do not speak Hebrew fluently and to get a good picture, I would need to speak to someone in English.
Thank you for your effort and advice.

Studying Medicine in Israel
Hi Noa
Thank you very much.
I have contacted all of the institutions already - only two of them (Ben Gurion University and Tel Aviv University) offer an MD program in English. Tel Aviv University only accepts USA or Canadian students that want to study Medicine in Israel in English, therefore I am not eligible (I am in South Africa).
Ben Gurion University seems to be the only option. I am currently in contact with someone that is providing information to me.
I appreciate your help - thank you very much for your effort.
