I'm an italian student, graduate in Modern Languages for International Communication at Roma Tre University in Arabic language. For my dissertation I analyzed a part of a bilingual manuscript: The Targum of Song of Songs in aramaic and judeo-arabic translation, and for my Ph.d project I would like to propose a critical edition of the same text (with a digital transcription in TEI format). Do you know in which University could I propose the project? I know Italian, English, Arabic language, and I started studying hebrew and aramaic language.

PhD programs in Israel
Hello Valentina,

There are a few institutes and schools that offer different PhD programs for international students in English in Israel, among those institutes you can find: The University of Haifa, The Tel Aviv University, The Ben Gurion University, The Hebrew University and more.
Usually candidates for the PhD programs must finish a Master's thesis track with a grade average of at least 80 and with a thesis grade of 85 or higher.
I advise you to contact those institutes directly to see which one can offer you the programs you're looking for.
