I obtained MA in Social Anthropology with Merit from the University of London 6 years ago. I am very interested to further my studies in Israel. I know both Modern and Classical Hebrew. My Hebrew should be good enough to handle daily conversations, although I have never taken any examination to get a qualification. It'd be great if you could give me some advise. Toda raba.

Postgraduate education in Israel
Hello Yu-ching,
Are you looking for a PhD track or a workshop-type professional training course? Both options are available in Israel, and are conducted in English, for the convenience of international students.
PhD tracks are available at a variety of universities. Candidates must complete their MA with a thesis, and obtain an average of 85 and above. You are then required to choose a guide for your research, and there are plenty of Israeli researchers available for that cause.
Professional training courses are short programs that span several weeks and allow students to acquire professional experience from local experts. There is a wide range of subjects to choose from, such as business, economics, environment and education. Most courses require previous academic experience.
I've added a link below my answer to an article with more details on the different PhD tracks. If you have any more questions, please contact us through the yellow tab below. We will be very happy to assist you in finding the right track for you.
