Many Israeli Universities have PhD (or doctoral) study tracks, that are designed especially for international students, with research that takes place entirely in English. Since Israel is responsible for many recent developments in irrigation and desert crop production, there are also many researchers, with which you can choose to conduct your PhD research.

In order to apply, you are required to have a grade average of 80 and up in your master's studies, and a score of at least 85 in your thesis. Previous working experience is also taken into consideration, and published articles are always a plus.
