I have just received quite poor "A" level results in the Uk. I had planned on spending a year at a yeshiva then to be drafted to the idf. My plan was then was to study engineering with a view to becoming a pilot but I now think that I may not cope with the academic side. I would still like to go to university but perhaps to try something like agriculture. Are my poor A level results going to hold me back from this?

Study in Israel - demands and qualifications
Hello Benji, In Israel there are a few institutes that offer special study programs for international students. In my opinion and as far as i know you can find the best program for you even if your exam results were not those you were expecting.
Agriculture studies are a very popular fields for international students and there are a few institutes that offer special programs in English, such as: GIMI - Galilee International Management Institute (Nahalal, near Nazareth), Golda Meir Training Center (Haifa), TAITC - The Arava International Trainee Center (Sapir), Arava Institute (Kibbutz Ketura) and more.
My advise to you is to contact a few of them so they could help you find the best program for you.
iv'e attached an article about some of the international students programs around our country.
