My name is Angelica Camelo, I'm 46 years old, I'm single, I live in Bogotá Colombia, I studied Business Administration and specialized in Prospectiva, my mother tongue is Spanish and I speak English at intermediate-high level. Three years ago I began to study TORA, ZOHAR, CABALA, HEBREW and Quantum Physics on my own, with much interest, supported by some Internet Rabbis. This RoshHashana that just happened, I felt that I finished a process and in my heart I felt very deep the desire to continue my studies but in a more structured way, with a support, a guide of a Cabalista Rabbi, with wise Jews who understood my yearning for learn and guide me in this learning. For this reason I felt very strong beginning to find out to study HEBREW in Israel directly and there also to continue with my studies of TORA, TALMUD, CABALA. This is the reason for my letter, very strong desire in my heart to learn, it is a great delight when I am studying TORA or ZOHAR, it is as if this is what I searched for all my life. For this I want to know how much a course of Biblical Hebrew and mainly the commercial to develop there and I would also like to know the costs of lodging, food, etc. I was out of work a long time during these 3 years, but what I received in the last months of the work that the Creator gave me, although not much, I am willing to invest completely in this trip to learn and connect more and more with The Creator. Considering my somewhat limited finances, I would like to know if I can access an opportunity to work while I study there; I can take care of children or elderly, or teach Spanish or English or administration in Spanish or support in some administrative subject, or attend some shop. I share my resume, in English and Spanish, just as a reference, but it really is not important, what is really important and relevant is my desire to study Hebrew, Torah, Zohar, so I am totally open to any occupation that gives me worthily a resource to be able to be there and acquire the books and pay the studies that I yearn. Thank you very much. I am very grateful for the information you can give me. I am very attentive to your response. Cordially,

Hello Angelica,
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem offers a Biblical Hebrew program for graduate students in 2 different levels: Intermediate and Advanced. Each level takes one year so if you need to start from the first one and graduate both it will take you 2 full years. In order to get in to the program candidates must present a bachelor's degree with a 3.2 grade-point average or the equivalent.
I advise you to contact the university directly to get more information about the course, admission and more.
