Highschool Proficiency Exam replace Bagrut?

My daughter completed 12 years of school in Israel. (Nesui school in Jerusalem). She didn't finish her bagrut. She is now in the States for the year and is considering doing the California Highschool Proficiency Exam. If she completes this successfully, will this be an adequate substitute for a Bagrut? Thank you. Laurie

Hello Lauie,

You'll have to contact the ministry of education about the specific diplome and test your daughter wants to get and pass - each one is different and the rules change from time to time so it's always better to go to the source.
