Hello, I am a Ghanaian and completed my first degree in 2000 with a CGPA of 3.03 and an MA in Communication Studies in 2009 with a CGPA of 3.37 all out 4.0. I have 13 years of work experience within which I worked 7 years as Head of Research for a think thank and currently the executive director of same think tank. I have led teams on national surveys and research helping to forumalate policies and messages for the opppsition party and leader who has subsequently won the Presidential election in Ghana on December 7,2016. He was sworn into office on January 7,2017 for a four year term. I wish to transit from civil society work to national security and intelligence work. I believe Israel has one of if not the best globally in terms of security and intelligence training. I want to benefit from such training maximum one year. Ghana finds itself a very stable democracy in the midst of a volatile sub region where Islamic extremism and radicalization is spreading . the region is also plagued with piracy. Ghana has recently found oil reserves in commercial quantity and it needs the best of intelligence to protect its resources and people. Our population dynamics is such that has over 60% being under age 40. The median age in Ghanq is 21. Unemployment is on the high side and therefore provides the fertile groud to influence idle hands into deviant behaviors. These and more fuel my passion to study the best in modern trends as per national security and intelligence.
Pls advise me on the best program and school that will admit me with my background and qualifications. I look forward to your quick response.

National security and terrorism studies in Israel
Hello Nana,
The Tel Aviv University and The University of Haifa both offer an M.A program in national security and terrorism in Israel.
The program is in English and it includes Modern Strategic Thought, Arab-Israeli Conflict, International Powers and the Middle East and more. The programs are open to students and candidates who completed their undergraduate degree in history or social sciences with a GPA of 80 (3.0) or above. All courses are in English so the candidates must present or pass an English proficiency test.
The M.A. tracks in National Security are designed to be completed in one year.
The universities both offer different scholarships and students housing but you'll have to contact them directly to get more information about those.
I've attached a link at the end of my message that will send you to an article about the program and admission.
