Increasing food security through irrigation Agriculture

I would like to undertake a practical short course in irrigation.In Uganda we are facing a long dry spell which has resulted in people dying of Hunger .I am a grassroot woman working with fellow women to improve food security,We dont have streams and Iam wondering how irrigation can work

There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different short term courses and training programs in the field of agriculture, among them you can find: The Arava Institute, The Golda Meir Training Center, The Center of International Agriculture Development Cooperation and more.

Each school and institute have a different program, some of the programs could be shorter or longer than others so I've attached a link a at the end of my message that will send you to an article about the different schools, institutes and programs you can choose from and hopefully help you find the best one for you.
