To whom it may concern:
I am a military member preparing to leave the service in the United States. I am considering attending medical school overseas and education in Israel interests me greatly.
My undergraduate degree was in Computer Science, and I plan to take premed labs through the University of New England this year.
As my undergraduate degree is not a premed, would my plan to take these courses through another school (and the MCAT) qualify me to apply to universities in Israel?
Also, is there a premed plan incorporated in any of the degree plans in Israel? (That is, could I apply to a school with the degree I have now and take both the premed and medical school courses at one institution? )
Thank you for your time.

Medical studies in Israel
Hello Morgan,
In order to study medicine you must first finish your premed studies abroad because there are no premed international programs in Israel. There are a few institutions which offer medical programs, among them: The Tel Aviv University, The Hebrew University, The University of Haifa, the Ben Gurion University and more. In order to study medicine in Israel you must first complete your pre med studies. Candidates need to present a GPA of at least 3.4. and MCAT scores (or their equivalent in case students are not from the US) with scores of above 27.
Because you are planning on taking a few courses that are related i advise you to contact the different schools in Israel to find out if you can enter with only some of the courses in the pre med programs.
I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different schools you can choose from and the admission for international students.
