This is Aduna Gemechu,Ethiopia and I am seeking for agriculture scholarship. I am young graduated from Arbaminch university,Ethiopia in Horticultural science bachelor of science degree in June 30,2011 with competent academic result 3.76 CGPA in four scale grading system.
To improve my professional skills and deepen my knowledge I have high enthusiastic to pursue INTERNATIONAL MASTER STUDY PROGRAM in Horticultural science OR related fields if I could get the chance to join one of your country universities that are offering and well coming students for master scholarship in agriculture.
Israel is basically a country developed in a science of agricultural technologies that different companies of the world are benefited from. That is why I interested to study in your country via scholarship of Israeli government.
Ethiopia is country of naturally gifted in natural resources to produce and type of agricultural products especially horticultural products that can help to food security. However, a major problem of my country is lack of skilled manpower and technologies of production. The secret behind any economically developed countries and their case of civilization was due to hard on training of educated human resources in all production sector.
TO summarize,it is my pleasure if you will allow me to pursue my second degree program in the profession I trained that will help me to solve different problems and narrowed the existing gap of professional skills limitations.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
wish all the best,
Aduna Gemechu,Ethiopia

Msc in agriculture sciences and scholarships in Israel
Hello Aduna,
There are a few institutions in Israel which offer different MSc programs in agriculture sciences for international students, among them: The Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, The Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot and The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
In order to apply for a master program in agriculture in Israel candidates must present a first degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, animal sciences, food sciences or any of the related fields with a GPA of 80 or more. In cases students are not from an English speaking country, they will have to take an English proficiency test like TOEFL or IELTS. Candidates must submit three letters of recommendation, and relevant experience is the field of agriculture.
Each institution in Israel which offer study programs to international students also offer different scholarships so before you apply for a scholarship you must first choose a master program in which you're interested and only than you can apply for a scholarship.
