Speech-Language Pathology Fieldwork in Israel

Speech-language pathology (SLP) is a profession which requires governmental licensing, and this licensing process includes a mandatory clinical practicum, which varies from country to country in length, contents, etc. Due to these differences in licensing, it may be difficult to complete fieldwork abroad and it is important you make sure that the university in the US offers accreditation for these hours.

I do not know of any direct collaborative programs in Israel and the US, but I would advise you to contact Israeli academic institutions which offer SLP programs and inquire whether they have any international agreements which may allow you to complete your fieldwork in Israel in a way which will be accredited for completing your degree. The academic institutions in Israel which offer undergraduate degrees in speech-language pathology (conducted in Hebrew) are: The University of Haifa, Ariel University, Ono Academic College, Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, and Achva College. Please note that there are currently no international SLP programs conducted in English offered in Israel and all programs are studied in Hebrew.
