Thesis Completion Track for PhD Candidates

Some Israeli academic institutions allow students who graduated with a master’s degree in a non-thesis track to complete their thesis in a special thesis completion program, sometimes known as “exploratory research”. In this track, students may conduct research work which spans 1-2 years, after which they will be evaluated by a research committee that will determine whether they can enroll in a PhD program in that institution. You can find such programs at The University of Haifa, Bar-Ilan University, Tel-Aviv University, and more. I would advise you to contact the universities directly to inquire whether they offer a thesis completion program in your field of research.
