Dear Management Team from Studying in Israel

Good day.

This short message serves to introduce the Cross Border Commodities (CBC) Group, a newly established private company registered in the United Republic of Tanzania. Our broad focus is on strengthening agricultural and livestock value chains through the sustainable use of natural resources, and thereby enhancing food security and rural development in the country.

It is our ambition to:
• Become the company of choice for youth employment in agribusiness
• Be the catalyst for community development through sustainable natural resource-based production systems.
• Build the productive capacities of community members and improve the welfare of rural communities faced with the negative impacts of climate change.

In support of these goals, we are eager both to strengthen our technical skills and knowledge and to establish linkages with international companies, such as those in Israel, which have a proven record in enhancing agricultural production systems, and the sustainable usage of natural resources and renewable energy. Considering the above, I am writing to enquire whether you might be able to sponsor my attendance of a short-term academic program which is focused on the growth and development of Sustainable Agribusiness in the Era of Climate Change. The program will be hosted by the Galilee International Management Institute and will run from 2 to 13 March 2023.

There are more than a few programs in Israel in the field of agriculture - workshops, training programs. short courses and more. Among the schools and institutions that offer the different programs you can find: The Arava Institute, The Golda Meir Training Center, The Center of International Agriculture Development Cooperation, and more.

Each school and institute have a different program, some of the programs could be shorter or longer than others and some offer scholarships to international students.
