There are quite a few options for you in Israel if you are interested in continuing your research. The faculties of agriculture usually accept candidates for research from around the world, research is conducted in English. You can find tracks in agronomy at The Hebrew University, Ben Gurion University and Weizmann Institute. I would advise you to contact these universities directly in order to make sure they indeed employ researchers in your field of research so they may assist you.
