Hello Bbaale,

I don't know what does your program offers (the one you're comparing the Israeli program with) but i can tell you what the Israeli programs offer.

The Tel Aviv University offers an MSc in plant sciences with emphasis in food safety and security.
This program let the students experience in advanced desert agriculture throughout their studies.
Beside this program we have a few more from different institutions (all sit under the title - agriculture sciences) so I've attached a link at the end of my message to an article about the different schools and programs you can choose from.
